Shay holds the title Vice President, Business Development for the Information Technology, SAP Division.  His responsibilities include operational leadership of both the Contract and Permanent teams.  With over 7 years of SAP specific experience, the SAP Division consistently ranks as one of the top Information Technology teams within the MRI network and has shattered many production records through the years.  To better serve our clients we’ve carved out a Permanent Placement Team who focuses solely on finding and qualifying SAP candidates who are open and available for permanent hire only.  These Perm Account Managers & Project Managers are also assigned to specific geographic regions, which brings our service offering to another level of specialization.  This enables us to know more candidates within our client’s geographic location.  Our Contract Team works nationwide and brings over 20 years of SAP Implementation and Recruiting experience to MRG.  This team focuses on the finding and qualifying contractors for our client’s in a quick and cost effective manner.  MRG Contract team has the ability to focus on small scale (2-3 contractors) and large scale (50++ contractors) projects.   Whether you have Perm or Contract needs within SAP space, MRG has the resources and experience to provide the level of service you desire. 

Before moving to the VP level Shay previously held the position of Director, Performance Development.  His responsibilities included all basic and advanced training across all three disciplines at MRG (Healthcare, Construction and IT/SAP).  Throughout his career with MRG he has been instrumental in teaching, developing and refining our processes to help further develop success in the office.

Shay started his recruiting career as a Project Coordinator wtih MRG and quickly moved to an Account Manager on one of the top Cardiovascular recruiting teams in the country. He was successful in establishing open and honest relationships while discovering top talent within Cardiovascular Services for placement with MRG client hospitals. For the past four years Shay has been a leader in the Healthcare Division at Magee Resource Group and has won many awards including the "MRG Excellence Award for Outstanding Character" in 2001, National "Top 10" awards for production within the MRI System and numerous "Account Manager of the Month" titles within the MRG Family. In 2004, Shay ranked in the Top 3% of all recruiters (5,000) within the MRI Worldwide Network.

After Graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a BS in Marketing, Shay was promoted through various sales and marketing positions in the Sports Industry. He was part of the Louisiana IceGators Hockey Team (ECHL) before joining the XFL in its inaugural season with the Birmingham Thunderbolts. In 2005, Shay enrolled in the Executive MBA Program at Centenary College in Shreveport and anticipates a 2008 graduation.
