We have partnered with a large level 1 trauma center in the Southeast to fill a VP of Critical Care position.
The Vice President (VP) of Critical Care is responsible for administrative, organizational, clinical, operational, and educational leadership for the Department of Critical Care which includes Medical ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, The Burn Center: The Wound Center, Intermediate Care, Telemetry, Rapid Response, VAD, and Hemodialysis Unit.
Reporting to the CNO, the VP must be clinically competent, aware of leading critical care practice, a team builder and great collaborator with the physician team. Leadership qualities must include Integrity, compassion, adaptability, and have a transformational leadership style. The successful candidate will have a strong multi-ICU clinical experience with a stable track record, successful experience building teams in a diverse environment, and proven results in quality/safety turn around and sustainability.
Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse required
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing Required; Master’s in nursing or Health/Business related field required
Minimum of 6 years of nursing experience with 3/6 progressive nursing leadership experience required
